What a day of flying. Baggage door came off aircraft at 30,000 ft. I was very surprised that the Piaggio flew so well with a 3 X 3 hole in the side. The worst part of the whole thing is trying to get the parts to fix it.

The door came over the aircraft and hit the right side horizontal stabilizer.

How did the door come off?
The locking mechanism fell apart and the arms relaxed. At 560 mph the door went away.
