Scarecrow Trail

Saturday the 18th of August Sharon and I went out on the Scarecrow Trail. The trail is a 25 mile loop that hugs the Utah / Nevada boarder. It was an easy trail. The trail started at an elevation of 3350 ft and climbed to 5630 ft. Check out her new ITP SS112 rims and Mudlite tires. Looks pretty good.

The trail went through a large Joshua tree forest. This part of the forest was burnt out by the 2005 /2006 fires.

This is the Joshua tree forest that did not get touched by the fire. The forest looked like it covered about 20 acres.

Taking a rest under the Joshua tree.

Inside the Joshua tree forest.

Sharon dropping 2 feet into a wash and climbing back out. Pretty good for her second trip on an ATV.

It's time for lunch.

25 miles, 3 hours and its time to head home.

My ball park beer and peanuts. Looks like I need another, this one came a 1/4 full. Someone needs to clean up this peanut shell mess. Looks like I grew up in a barn.

The first pitch of the night. The final score was 8 to 7, Rangers win.

Dallas Maintance Trip Day 2

After shopping at the Bass Pro shop, we found this winery in the old town of Grapevine Texas.

Met some people from Savannah Georgia taste testing the wine. Cheers!

Good old Texas barbecue.
