Scarecrow Trail

Saturday the 18th of August Sharon and I went out on the Scarecrow Trail. The trail is a 25 mile loop that hugs the Utah / Nevada boarder. It was an easy trail. The trail started at an elevation of 3350 ft and climbed to 5630 ft. Check out her new ITP SS112 rims and Mudlite tires. Looks pretty good.

The trail went through a large Joshua tree forest. This part of the forest was burnt out by the 2005 /2006 fires.

This is the Joshua tree forest that did not get touched by the fire. The forest looked like it covered about 20 acres.

Taking a rest under the Joshua tree.

Inside the Joshua tree forest.

Sharon dropping 2 feet into a wash and climbing back out. Pretty good for her second trip on an ATV.

It's time for lunch.

25 miles, 3 hours and its time to head home.

You guys are quite the adventurers! I'm impressed with Sharon, that's better than I could do!

Its funny you say that because we were at Casto Canyon today and Sharon said we need to get Becky a ATV and have her come with us.
