Los Cabo Here I Come Again

12 - 16 Feb 2009
Spent a few day back in Cabo. This time went with Griff. Showed him how to get into and out of Mexico. Spent twenty years looking for the Red October, I found the Red October in Cabo. :) The Navy can stop looking.

Stayed in the Marina Fiesta again. This time my room was on the marina boardwalk.

Went to the Cabo Wabo again. Such a fun place. Again the band was awesome.

This is a good picture of the point of Los Cabo. If you see the white sand beach to the right, mid picture. Griff and I walked to that beach over the mountain to the left side and hiked back to the marina. Way cool hike. The Marina Fiesta is to the Left side of the picture out of view.

Finished the hike around the mountain. You can see the Marina Fiesta behind me. When you are walking on the marina boardwalk; there are vendors that try to sell you things. If you say no thank you, then they ask you if you want some pot. We had one vendor ask that set of questions, and we said no. He then said "yea pot is bad do you want some coke?" as if coke is'nt bad. Seemed pretty funny to me.

Saving Able

28 January 2009
Drove 4 hours from St. George to Salt Lake City to watch the Saving Able, Papa Roach, Avenge Sevenfold, And Buckcherry show. The show was at The E-Center. Saving Able was the first act of four. They were awesome. They sounded great.

This song was for the military. I have so much respect for these guys support for the troops.

Second act. These guys sounded great and had a awesome stage presence.

Third act. Could have done without hearing them. They were way too loud, the lead singer didn't sound that good, and it sounded like none of them were playing together.

The last and main act. They sounded great. I was able to get some good video with my little camera. Enjoy the show I did. Well worth the 8 hour round trip from St. George to SLC.

Toronto Trip Pt. 1

22 January 2009.
2100hrs. Just flew in from Teterboro NJ. It's pretty cold, about 8deg and snow on the ground here at Toronto International. Will be here for 2 days.

Left down town Toronto and headed for the Niagara Falls. It took an hour and half to get here. Once here we took the Griswald approach, OK here are the Falls, lets go. I think we were only there for 20 min.

No one going over today.

A little bit of ice every where.

Toronto Trip Pt. 4

Made the hour and half drive from the Niagara Falls to the ice rink. Checking out some minor league hockey here in Mississauga Canada. The home team is the Warriors.

Cabo Wabo Here I Come.

Headed down to Los Cabo. Stayed there for 4 days. The weather was pretty good. 80 deg and few clouds. There was very little humidity compared to the last time I was there.

Back at the Marina Fiesta. Was on the 7th floor and the view was pretty good.

Like I said the view was pretty good. Its always cool when you can have a Corona in the pool next to the bar.

Hanging out at the Cabo Wabo. Tried this new beer and it was pretty good.

Winter Time in Casto Canyon.

New year. Went up to Casto Canyon near Bryce Canyon for some fun in the snow with the quads. They did alright but they only made it 3 miles up the trail before the snow got to deep.

The end of the line. Time to turn around.

Well they say it never snows here. Yep. Right.

Went to the bosses house to check out if all was well. looks good.

A Day in the Nevada Desert

The Bosses had their truck in the Henderson 400. They did pretty good but the desert got the best of them. They were pretty much ahead of their class when the drive line separated from the transmission.
